Normandy is located along the Western coast of Northern France. Normandy is divided into two main areas; Upper and Lower Normandy. The division is a natural one; the Seine River.
People visit Upper Normandy for the Scenery, Lower Normandy for the History and Cities. That is why you'll find more higher ratings for cities in Lower Normandy, but the scenery and drives are nicer in Upper Normandy.
Rouen is the capital of Normandy.

The Michelin Green Guide is a very detailed guidebook for many of the places in Normandy. If any of the places we write about in this site is available in Green Guide, we will reference to it.
