The Omaha Beach area is one of many war memorials in this part of Normandy (both Allies and German). It is the biggest and most important one, and an area where one of the biggest battles of Operation Overlord took place during WWII.

Omaha Beach is in hands of the USA's American Battle Monuments Commission. It is a most impressive, well maintained area. When you walk alongside the thousands and thousands of graves, you feel humble !
