Cany-Barville is a typical Upper Normandy town. Very pleasant with some nice features. One shopping street, the town hall, post office, 2 hotels, some small restaurants and a market.
Outside is a very pretty castle (click here to see the Castle). Next to Cany is a large lake which has been turned into a pleasure/camping area {link}.

Durdent river (winter) |
The small river (stream) called the "Durdent" flows through Cany. If you venture from or to Yvetot from Cany, you'll be passing alongside the river. This is worth a visit. There are many old watermills there... |

Durdent river Power Generator |
In Cany, alongside the Durdent river there is a small electrical generator which uses the river as power source. It's old, but it still works. |
