Le Havre is one of the biggest harbors in France. It is also a very industrial city, and had been badly bombed during World War II. They had to rebuild the city quickly and cheaply, and it shows. The city is trying very hard to make it a more visitable place, but so far, the grey concrete buildings are winning.

There are several ferries that come to Le Havre.

Le Havre is not a very pretty city. There are a lot of heavy industries around the outskirts.
The City Hall is big and in front there is a big park with fountains. Alongside there are several shopping streets.

Justice building
Some old buildings have survived, but most are shapeless buildings.
